In your own practice: Remember that you are a living being
Recall the vibrancy and liveliness of your being. Perhaps imagine being a king or queen, having just fallen in love, or imagine being really at home within yourself.
Effect
This step is inseparable from all the other steps. It is the basis with which we can practice and support our students. This exists within each of us naturally, we just have to bring it into our awareness.
Adjustment Perspective: Recognize the divine in your student
Before you step any closer, look for and be mindful that this person is divine and see what is already beautiful and good in this person as you watch them. Your help at this stage is to observe and admire the students individual agency. In this way you can set yourself up to help, NOT to correct.
Effect
This perspective allows for the student's personal growth.
