Through discernment (viveka) arises action which is truly unintentional. From this grows a comprehensive sense of oneness (samādhi). In this state even the afflictive forces (kleśa) and the basic properties of nature (guṇa) come to rest.

Once you even established completely clear sight (prasaṁkhyāna), the experience of complete unity (samādhi) can even transform you into a blessing (dharma-megha) for others. This is based on your continuing distinction (viveka) and your freedom from greed (akusīda).

Dr. Ronald Steiner - modern transfer

Once a completely clear sight (prasaṁkhyāna) [is established,] the complete experience of unity (samādhi) [is transformed, through continuing insight into distinction (vivekakhyātati), even to a cloud of virtue (dharma-megha), for the one who is without greed (akusīda).

Dr. Ronald Steiner - historic word by word translation

Paul Deussen - 1908

If the ascetic is not desirous of fruit (or is not inert) even when the perfect knowledge has been attained (then) the meditation (technically called) Dharma-megha, could of virtue takes place from the entire discriminative knowledge.

If you have cleared your perceptual space from impurities (mala) and concealments (āvaraṇa), you will have access to infinite knowledge (jñāna).

Dr. Ronald Steiner - modern transfer

When all impurities (mala) and concealments (āvaraṇa) have disappeared, little remains due to the infinity of knowledge (jñāna).

Dr. Ronald Steiner - modern transfer

Paul Deussen - 1908

Then from infiniteness of the knowledge free from the impurity of all its abscurations, the knowable appears small.

Even the basic building blocks of nature (guṇa) come to rest. They now have served their purpose.

Dr. Ronald Steiner - modern transfer

Because the purpose (artha) [has been] fulfilled, a completion (samāpati) of the path of transformation (pariṇāma) of the basic weaving threads of nature (guṇa) arises.

Dr. Ronald Steiner - historic word by word translation

Thereupon takes place the termination of the succession of the modification of the qualities which have done what was to be done (or which have realised their end).
